(Interim) Demand Manager / Per direct (COMPLETED) – Brabant

For a fantastic and growing company in the food sector we are searching for a Demand Manager. The start date will be as soon as possible. It could be an interim assignment but also a permanent contract. Most important is that you will be available soon.

In the role of Demand Manager you will be responsible for leading the forecasting process for all products and support the periodical demand management review (Sales en Operations Planning).

You will work closely together with Marketing and Sales to develop an accurate forecast and coordinate distribution planning.
You are able to manage the planning tool to create a 18 month rolling forecast for sales/supply planning.

Key aspects of the rol are analyzing historical sales & consumption trends, channel inventory positioning and working with Commercial organization to incorporate Marketing plans & assumptions

Deliver forecast accuracy that drives appropriate inventory levels as well as service levels that meet or exceed customer requirements

• Drive standardization & harmonization of processes between departments
• Ability to interpret diverse data sets, derive and apply insights to generate a robust forecast

• Bring demand management review in S&OP+ to maturity

• Drive continuous improvement in process and forecast accuracy

• Harmonize & looking for proposals about new ways of working

PERSON PROFILE:

Bachelor / Master degree in Supply Chain management or Business Administration

5 – 7 years of experience in planning function or similar

Expert in forecasting

Excellent stakeholder management skills and ensure perfect execution from customer demand to supply replenishment
